Union JEIS Coordinator
The responsibilities of the Union JEIS coordinator include:
Receiving notice from the Absence Advisor when members have been, or are expected to be, absent for six consecutive scheduled working days/shifts and when Desjardins has been notified
Contacting absent members as soon as possible to tell them Desjardins will be contacting them to offer help
Advising members that the JEIS is a program offered through the PEBT and participation is a requirement of the LTD plan
Acting as a liaison between the local union and the District Joint JEIS Committee over local issues and concerns
Promoting and educating members and the local union about the JEIS and the benefits of this service
